Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA, commercially branded “Norwegian,” is a public low-cost airline noted on the Oslo Stock Exchange. With more than 9.1 million passengers in 2008, Norwegian is the 4th largest low-cost airline in Europe. The turnover in 2008 was in excess of NOK 6.2 billion, an increase of 43% from the year before.
